| Speed | Up to 350 mm/s |
| Resolution | 203 dpi |

| Interfaces | ESC/POS command set, drawer kick-out port |
| Roll diameter | Up to 83 mm |
2. Installation
- Fit the paper guide before first use if the till uses 58 mm rolls — retrofitting it later means recalibrating the cutter position.
- Connect the cash drawer to the kick-out port and test it opens on a receipt; this is the step people forget until the first customer.
- Set a static address for networked tills. A receipt printer that moves address stops the till, not just the printing.
- Print the self-test by holding the feed button while powering on: it lists interface settings and firmware.
Keep the transport locks and packaging until the machine has run a full week without fault. Wide-format and industrial units are shipped with several restraints, and a missed one shows up as a media fault days later.
3. Drivers and integration
- Point the POS software at the ESC/POS interface directly where possible — it is faster than going through a Windows spooler and recovers better from paper-out.
- If a driver is needed, install the vendor one and disable bidirectional support only if the software complains; you lose paper-out status.
- Test the drawer kick command from the POS software, not just from the printer utility.
4. Maintenance schedule
Intervals assume normal duty. Dusty warehouses and continuous shifts need the shorter end of every range.
| Weekly | Open the lid and blow out paper dust; it collects around the cutter. |
|---|---|
| Monthly | Clean the printhead with a cleaning pen. Thermal receipt paper leaves residue that shows as light patches. |
| Every 6 months | Check the cutter blade and the roll holder for wear. |
| As needed | Reset the cutter from the panel after a jam rather than turning the machine off and on. |
5. Common faults
Receipt prints faint on one side
Head residue or a worn roller. Clean first.
Cutter jams and the lid will not open
Do not force it. Power off, open the cutter access cover and turn the manual release.
Drawer does not open
Kick-out cable, or the POS software is not sending the command. Test with the printer utility to tell the two apart.
Paper feeds but nothing prints
Roll loaded upside down. Thermal paper prints on one side only.
Printer disappears after a power cut
DHCP gave it a different address. Reserve it on the router — a till cannot wait for someone to find the printer.
Isolate the machine at the mains before reaching into the media path. Thermal printheads and fusers hold heat for a long time after the last job, and cutter blades stay under spring tension.
